Founding release · current status
Privacy before participation.
The first public release is intentionally static. It does not operate user accounts, store contribution-form entries, or accept Encounters of Care.
What the site currently does
The lineage explorer runs in the visitor's browser using a small illustrative dataset shipped with the site. The color-theme preference may be stored locally in the visitor's browser. The contribution form only previews an entry and does not transmit it.
Hosting and email
The hosting, DNS, security, and email providers may process ordinary technical logs or messages under their own arrangements. A visitor who chooses an email link sends information through the visitor's and recipient's email providers.
What is not enabled
No advertising pixels, behavioral analytics, account profiles, public contribution storage, or sensitive-story archive should be added to this founding release without an updated privacy review and notice.
Encounters of Care
Personal stories will require a separate consent process, visibility controls, redaction review, withdrawal rules, and special protections for minors and third parties. The founding release does not accept them.
